Hello Everyone!!

Just wondering in the post olympics season, would Yuna be holding an All that skate show? Would really like to catch her live once before she really hangs up her boots or something... And as my summer holidays shrink as the years past by in college...it would be helpful if there are any updates so at least I can plan ahead! :D

Thanks and any advice/suggestions are greatly appreciated!

I heard this too from a friend who's planning to go if it follows through. The supposed dates are May 2~6!

You mean ATSS's supposed dates?? or your friend's trip?
I also plan to go Korea for the show and hope ATS could make an announcement asap. Visa, flight ticket, accomodation...a lot of things need to be done.

ATSS's supposed dates! Sorry I wasn't clearer. I forgot where I read it but it was a post-Sochi article interview of Yuna's asking what she was going to do after retiring and I think I read that she mentioned practicing for a show in May. So I think early May is a good time to plan your Korea trip since it seems it'll be a spring show.

I guess we need a separate thread for this:

All that Skate will be held @ Olympic Park Stadium in Korea.

Figure Queen Yuna Kim Officially Retires at the Ice Show in May

[by Cho Suyoun] Yuna Kim, who announced retirement after Sochi Olympics, will hold a special Ice show in May to thank Korean fans.

Figure skating star Yuna Kim’s agency All That Sports announced today that the queen will retire officially at the Ice show she’s presenting in May.

According to the All That Sports, the show will be held from May 4 to 6 at the Olympic Stadium in Seoul and will be sponsored by Samsung as the brand features Yuna in its advertisements.

As this event will be the official retirement show, the figure star will prepare a new gala program and thank all fans who have supported her for years. Along with Yuna Kim, there will be world’s top-class skaters presenting an amazing show.

More detailed information regarding the participating skaters, programs and tickets will be announced soon.

Yuna will skate to her Send in The Clowns program and a new gala.

Hopefully we will have new skaters added to the cast!

Just a question:

What does it mean as farewell ice show? Meaning this will be the last ice show?

Not sure, just heard korean fans said that this is a farewell ice show as an active skater

That makes sense anyway, after that Yuna will be a retired skater, ice show of retired legend Yuna Kim :)

Oh wait, it says:

The agency said the three days of performances will be Kim's last appearances on ice as a figure skater.

Meaning? Yuna won't be performing anymore? As this is her last ice show? I'm still confused.

I think we need some guess from korean fans here or Yuna herself confirmed at the rehearsal day right before the ice show, I dont believe in article.

I myself think it hard to believe she won't hold ice show anymore, most of retired skaters still do ice show. Not even mention ice show got a big part of yearly income for her own agency

^

My understanding from other Korean news reports and the discussions among the fans is that Yuna will have a chance to celebrate her retirement from competitive figure skating at the upcoming show.

It doesn't mean she will stop doing ice shows. :)
