Below is all speculation, because I have zero inside information whatsoever.
Peter Oppegard is still a possibility. I wouldn't rule him out until, well, he's ruled out. Yu-na and Michelle are still friendly, too. He's got Caroline Zhang, but I don't think that's a barrier.
Frank Carroll...he's no longer coaching Mirai. I think he's a bit too intertwined with the USFSA, but he does coach Denis Ten. He may be intrigued by coaching a ladies OGM.
Rafael Arutunian. I think he picked up a new skater this season, but I can't for the life of me remember who it was...? It's possible, who knows?
I suppose she could always go back to one of her old Korean coaches (Kim Se-Yol?) but I kind of doubt it.
Morosov? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
Christy Krall? John Nicks?

Peter Oppegard is a good choice, i guess. Yuna looked so comfortable with him! I don't think it's a good idea to go to a completely new coach this time. New training place, new coach, that's too much at this time.
I don't think she'll compete at 4CC. Isn't it Special Olympics period in Korea???

another super quick translation
I'm not going to repeat the Q1 part (why did she come back?) b/c the other thread has tons of information already. Refer to my own translation here if you need to read it (it's longer and more detailed) http://yunaforum.com...ndpost&p=103870
As for the rest
-- is it possible to be #1?
Yuna said she'll lower expectations and perform for herself. Experts (in Korea) feel positive, and many feel that she can regain her top form soon. She didn't give up skating, and she did ice shows.
Go Seong-Hee (International FS judge) said, "She did better than skaters who prepped all season long in 2011 Worlds. I'm sure she decided to come back b/c she thought she could do it again." Yuna's former coach Ryu Jong-hyun said, "I understand she trained 4 hours/day even when she was skipping the season. I saw her do combination jumps in Taereung." Yuna's only 22. She'll be 24 in Sochi. Shizuka was 25 years old when she won in Torino.
-- Her plans for the season
She has to start over to go to Sochi. She has to compete in the Ranking Competition in October to earn a spot on the national squad. Then she has to go to the Nats in January (National Rep Selection Competition) and win in order to go to the Worlds. Furthermore, she must go to an ISU-sanctioned international competition and earn at least 28.0 point in the short program to qualify to go to the worlds. If she is 24th or better at the worlds, she'll earn a spot for herself for Sochi. If she places 10th or better, she'll earn 2 spots.

Hmmm.
So basically, she needs to pass at least 4 gates to go to Sochi.

Its great that Yuna is being humble and accepting her position that she has to earn her spot on the national squad. At the same time, is there any doubt she will win nationals? I guess anything can happen, but seriously, we are talking about the world record holder here. I hope she does well and finishes first, but I think this will be a "relatively" easy task.

It should be, but I don't like it that she's forced to compete at the crappy venue for what is basically a novice-ishy/juniorish competition. OTOH, she really has no choice unless the KSU makes an exception, and I don't think she wants them to do that, for the sake of fairness and so on.

Minimum 28 points for the SP?
The ranking competition is on October? She'll skate that soon? Yay! Although given the short timeframe, we won't likely see her in top form or with a new program. Maybe she'll skate Arirang again!

I know, right? I hope it was a typo in the article b/c 28 is bloody low. (Or maybe it's 28 for TES, who knows)
It's late October, so almost November, I think. So she has very little time to prep. I imagine SBS or somebody will broadcast it live b/c everyone's dying to see Yuna skate again.

It takes lot of energy time money for a us or Canadian coach to go abroad + they don't have only one student..
I don't hope she'll get back another gold medal
I want her to be happy with the performance she delivers as a final stage in olympics
like everybody knows the color of medal doesn't matter for her
