She looks stunning even after long flight. I just wished she can stay longer and enjoy some nice time in New York, but maybe next time. But, I have to tell you, I want her to bring her show to states, I'd buy and fly to see it!

Seriously, this woman better be doing a really good job at everything else that she's doing for Yuna because so far from what we've seen, she is the worst assistant EVER!!! How the heck could she let Yuna open the car door on her own in public!!!

Oh man, you are overdoing it... Yuna can open the car door.
But I agree that she is bad assistant. I have no idea why she is working there...

I know Yuna can open her own door, and I admire her for that. At first when I saw that photo I thought 'wow, she's such a humble girl, not putting up any star/celebrity attitude and standing there waiting for someone to open the door for her.'
Then when I thought about it again, really, she's at a public event, with her assistant/employee, all dressed up, and she's opening her own door? Come on, it's not a rule that she can't open her own door, but it's common etiquette that the assistant should open the door for her at least during public events. Mr. Gu who's probably at a higher position than this lady had the common sense to open the door for Yuna, yet this lady is just taking her time and letting Yuna take care of herself.
I don't think a guy should always be required to open a door for a women, but there are certain times when they should if it's at a formal event. Some times call for it, others don't. It' depends on the time and situation/event.

According to someone I know who understands Korean and watches the Korean news occasionally, that nice lady is apparently on Yuna's publicity team.
I wish she was with Yuna at this event also, she and Yuna seem to have a good bond.
I can't understand how such a horrible translator has been provided for Yuna at recent events. I cringe every time she opens her mouth. She seems to have difficulty understanding questions in English, and it's catastrophic when she opens her mouth to speak English herself. Is she seriously earning money for being an impostor translator?
Sorry if that seems harsh

I'd say the one who put that X failed. They should have put a nice mark like a pink circle rather than an ugly X.

I totally agree.. I mean, it's only befitting to have someone translate for you who is capable to correctly express what you're trying to say, without sounding so vague and curt which is somehow what happened during the interview at Worlds, and who knows where else.. Yu-na is a global public figure now and she definitely needs someone who can speak for her more appropriately.. Nothing personal, it's just that it seems she is lacking the capabilities to efficiently perform this particular function.
So if that other lady is in her publicity team, will that mean we won't be seeing her with Yu-na anymore? Is the team she was connected with employed by IB sports?

Yes, that's part of her magic.. So poised and seemingly oozing with confidence one moment, then child-like and a little bit awkward, and even boyish, the next.. Her shyness just goes to show though how she definitely is not an air-head or someone with a narcissistic ego who always thinks too highly of themselves.. She is just pure beauty and magic....

SPECIAL CORRESPONDENT / Sports Features Communications
NEW YORK, May 5: Superstar figure skater Yu-na Kim was celebrated by Time Magazine as one of the 100 World's Most Influential People yesterday at the Time Warner Center in New York City.
The Korean athlete crossed the red carpet with other luminaries such as Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, who topped the 'leaders' list and singer Lady Gaga, cited as the most influential artist.
Kim inspired many people around the world for her composure under pressure on the Vancouver ice to take the gold in the figure skating competition. A fervent supporter of the PyeongChang 2018 winter Olympics bid she looks to promote her sport as well as her country abroad.
Quintessentially classic and elegant dressed in a black evening dress and silver heels in place of her ice skates she noted, "I'm very grateful to be here at my young age. It's my first time in New York, and I'm delighted that I came here for a good reason. It's such an honor to be invited to a gathering of the world’s greatest people, and it will make a wonderful memory."
