2012/2013 Music/Program Suggestions

Personally, my dream is to see her keep her "Arirang" as her long. I feel like that piece is a masterpiece just waiting, waiting for the right time and stage to unfold and blossom to its full potential. I'd absolutely love to see it skated clean and to its full potential. For her short program, perhaps a classical piano piece? Based on Yu-na's record, she'll probably go for something dynamic in her short but I'd love to see a soft but nuanced music for her short program.

I'd also love to see her bring back Arirang.
Classical music like Thais would also be wonderful. Canon or Air are both pieces I'd love to see her skate to.

"But when you watched Kim Yu-na . . .Well, it was like watching Jordan. It was like watching Wayne Gretzky, the puck on his stick, behind the net, occupying his "office." It was like watching Michael Johnson come screaming down the stretch in Atlanta in 1996. You may not know why it's awesome to watch. You just know that it is." -MIKE VACCARO, NY POST
NBC Reporter: "The Whole country behind you..."
Yuna Kim: "Yeah..." as she smiled.

I want her to skate on something really pop with a new style like 'Dont stop the music' or 'bulletproof'
or something jazzy like swing swing or salsa
a genre that she didn't try before in competition

I hope not.

Oh, just think about it. How would "dark Yuna" be like?! I say take Giselle to its deeper sorrow and more madness and we'll see The Dark Yuna! Ugh, I just got chills!

I wonder if she might revisit Tango again. I too would love to see a passionate sultry Yuna or something new, a grown up woman Yuna in her next phase of evolution.
David... wonder what is in that massive maestro brain of his!! Tick Tok Tick Tok ...

I don't believe so? I mean realistically speaking, Yu-na has roughly 3 months to get back in competitive form, a tough order by itself. It'd make sense to keep at least one of her 2011 programs for her health's sake imo.

How feisty and sensual she would be! She's already a natural dancer

ITA. There's every good reason to start two new programs, yet there's every great reason to keep Giselle and Arirang
